Unusual Accomplishments

  • Designed and implemented the first successful “channeled” professional liability insurance program for a major clinic and its associated hospital. (This program remains in existence today)
  • Designed and implemented the first program for hospital DRG stop loss insurance
  • Assisted over 800 hospitals and 63 clinics (nationally) in designing and implementing programs permitting them to stabilize and reduce their costs of Medical Professional Liability in the face of catastrophic premium adjustments during the crises in the 70s and 80s.
  • Developed and implemented programs designed to provide prior acts coverage for organizations with known claims when their insurance company became insolvent and was no longer able to meet its obligations to its policy holders
  • Developed endorsed programs of workers' compensation insurance and package policies for trade and professional associations or purchasing groups, permitting them significant savings compared to the cost of these policies otherwise
  • Developed and implemented endorsed or sponsored programs of directors and officers liability insurance for small businesses and members of trade associations that resulted in savings to the participants
